There is a growing consensus on the need to reflect on the ethical and legal principles that should guide the introduction of new technologies (Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, the Internet of Things, etc.) in digital health.

Since the endorsement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the development sector is evolving. Globally, all actors engaged in these goals, and not only the NGOs, are trying to find ways to have more impact and to achieve the common objectives.

According to Action Against Hunger, food insecurity in Nigeria registers a figure of 1.74 million children who suffered from malnutrition in the northern region of the country during 2022, while, by February 2023, just over 1.8 million of the inhabitants of Borno state have been internally displaced due to the activity of armed groups and bandits (OIM, 2023), and also, the several droughts, floods and land degradation due to climate change.
