Carlos Mataix Aldeanueva

 

Full Professor in the Department of Organisational Engineering at the Technical University of Madrid.

He directs the Innovation and Technology for Development Centre of the Technical University of Madrid (itdUPM). He has a long career in the field of international development cooperation. He was head of the Aid Planning and Quality Unit of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID). He has also been a visiting researcher at the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) at the University of Sussex, UK. Since 2018 he is part of "The COTEC 100", the network of experts selected by the COTEC Foundation for Innovation. She has published several articles and books on cooperation management and, in particular, on building multi-stakeholder partnerships for transformation towards sustainability.
